Hello!
Welcome to my corner of the internet! I am a Full-stack Web Engineer based in Tokyo. I consider myself more of a generalist, working my way through the frontend, backend and infrastructure. That said, my personal preference has always leaned toward the frontend where I started my career. When developing, I like to be involved in every step, from deciding on specs, designing, implementation, testing and all the way to release. Aside from coding, I've had experiences leading teams, managing multiple projects and even dipping my hands into UI/UX design.
Got a project in mind? Have a question? Let's talk!

Reflections (2023)
Another year has passed and I am finally back to writing another Reflections. It’s been somewhat of an uneventful year but that may just be that my 2022 was such a big year for me. I felt that I achieved a lot in 2022, a bit too much perhaps. At least career-wise at my current company, I think that I have achieved everything that I wanted and more. I built a lot of confidence and proved that I was capable of leading at least a 10 man development team, so what’s next?
Reflections (2022) - Becoming Head of Engineering
My year started off by getting promoted to the Head of Engineering of a small subsidiary company. To be honest, when I was first offered the opportunity, I had a lot of hesitation. At 25, I had never imagined that I would get such a position so early on in my career. Although I had led a few teams leading up to this, I still had a lot of doubt if I was ready. I always kept coming back to thinking of how many more years of experience many of my team members had over me that surely, I wasn't qualified to lead them let alone be responsible for an entire department. Surely, I just wasn't ready.
Past Work & Experience
Some of the projects I've been a part of include a 3rd party JavaScript SDK, vector-based search engine and ML-integrated image processing pipeline. You can find the details on the stack we used and my role in each project through the link below.
Here are some of the technologies/tools that I have used and are comfortable with on a production level:
